Hyperactivity in a person can be defined as a state of over activity. In such cases the person is more active as compared to other people of his age group, gender, and work profile. Hyperactivity can be related to overactive muscles of the body or a single muscle or the body may show hyper active state.People with such type of behaviors may show varied signs like that of impulsiveness, irritation, talking too much, wandering about or fidgeting with things. They generally show a common behavior of doing something or the other to a limit of irritation. As such there is no proper definition of hyperactivity as different people may perceive different behaviors in different ways. What may seem like a hyperactive reaction to one may be just fine for somebody else. A careful eye and an observation for a longer period may help one understand the exact state of a person.

HYPERACTIVITY IS A STATE OF MIND AND BODY THAT IS AGGRAVATED BY ANY CHANGES IN OUR NERVOUS AND MUSCULAR SYSTEM. THE USUAL CAUSES SEEN FOR HYPERACTIVITY ARE:

  • Attention deficiency

  • Brain disorders

  • Hyperthyroidism

  • Emotional disorders
