The dental cavities are a common problem usually faced by children. It is a stress factor for mothers of young kids who often complain of pain in the oral cavity due to cavities. It occurs in young kids more as they eat food rich in carbohydrates. Candies, chocolates and sweets, all have ample of carbohydrates that increase the bacterial action in the oral cavity. In such cases the teeth are directly attacked and face problems.

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF DENTAL CAVITIES?

The cause of dental cavity is the action of bacteria on carbohydrate debris stuck in the oral cavity in between the teeth. The causatives are just a way to complete the process but only if present in a sequential way. The first part if exposed tooth surface. The second requirement is presence of bacteria in the oral cavity. The next part is eating carbohydrate rich food that would get stuck as debris in between the teeth. After all this, the simplest part left is leaving the mouth in this position for some time. The bacterial action of debris and tooth surface starts and the cavity formation is in process. In contrast, if someone cleans his mouth soon after eating, the chances of debris are lowered in a massive way.
